Article marketing is one of the easiest and quickest ways to get more people to your site, and get your name and expertise out there for other’s to see.
In the simplest of terms, article marketing is the process of writing articles and posting them to article directories on the web.
So, how does this generate traffic to your website?
- These articles are known as “free to reprint articles”.
- Your article will always include what is known as a “resource” or “bio box” at the end that tells a bit about you or your website. Within that resource box, you’ll include a link that will direct people to your site.
- When you submit articles to article directories, other website owners will pick them up and post them on their own websites without changes, resource box included. This is completely free advertising which generates traffic from various other sources besides just the article directory.

Today begin brainstorming some topics that would benefit those in your target market. Once you have a few topics, you can begin putting together informative, quality information in the form of articles to submit to the directories.
There are several ways to submit your articles to the article directories -

- Paying someone to do it for you – which is expensive.
