Hope you’re having a good day and you have begun implementing some of the traffic boosting tactics in my previous emails.
If you’re still working on something from a few days back, that’s perfectly fine, just keep these emails in a safe place or print them out as you get them so you can work your way through at your pace.
On to today’s lesson we go.
Yesterday we talked about using lists to generate traffic. Your own lists and the lists of others, both are great ways to get the clicks coming.
This time we’re still talking about lists, but this time we’ve got a specific kind of list owner in mind that we want to work with.
If you are a follower of Internet marketing, I’m sure you’ve heard of John Reese. I won’t go into detail about him, but let me just say that when John releases something new, it doesn’t take long for my inbox to fill up with people promoting him and his products.
That’s because he’s what is known as a “guru” in the online world.
When he does something, everyone takes notice and everyone wants in on it. Affiliates of his know that when he puts something new out people want it and they want to be the first to refer a sale.
When you’re looking for traffic, one of the best ways to get it is to “piggy back” on these types of launches.
Here are just a couple of ways to take advantage of this piggy back ride with your own list.
- Shoot your list an email about the guru launch, and mention your site in the email as well.
- Offer your list a special bonus if they buy the other product through your link and make them go to your website to get it.
Get creative and think of other ways you can gain traffic from the help of other well known marketers that you KNOW your list will appreciate.
